We’re a community of followers of Christ committed to loving our neighbors and loving the nations that all might come to find joy in Jesus.

Our History

Neighborhood Church began in 1971 led by a team of elders, with a strong emphasis on Christian community, emphasizing the priesthood of all believers, and seeking to be actively engaged in the local community.

Our Mission

Neighborhood Church exists to inspire among all peoples an overflowing joy in God through Jesus Christ.

We hold fast to these foundational truths of Christianity:

The infallible Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit, the triune nature of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in God’s sovereign control over all creation, the vital role of Christ’s church, and the importance of faithful obedience to Christ’s teachings. We observe the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and anticipate the personal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection, and the final judgment, all for the glory of God.
