Children's Church
Each Sunday Morning during both our 8:15am and 11:00am Worship Services, children in TK through 2nd grade are dismissed from the auditorium prior to the sermon so they can learn together from God's Word in a more age-appropriate setting while still having an opportunity to spend part of the morning worshiping God through song with their family.
We use the Gospel Story Curriculum, which teaches children that the Bible is one continuous story pointing to Jesus as the hero. Designed to span three years, the 156 lessons present key stories from Genesis to Revelation, each highlighting God’s plan of redemption in a way that’s engaging, interactive, and easy to understand. If you have any questions about Children's Church, contact Sommer Powers.
Kids Connect
During our 11:00am Worship Services, we also offer a class for 3rd through 5th grade. Just as with Children's Church, Kids Connect is dismissed from the auditorium prior to the sermon so they can learn together from God's Word in a more age-appropriate setting while still having an opportunity to spend part of the morning worshiping God through song with their family.
Children's Sunday School
During the Sunday School hour (9:45-10:45am), we also offer God-centered, Bible-based teaching to our children ages 2 years old through high school. Our desire is for each child to come to know God as his or her greatest treasure!
We use the Truth78 Sunday School curriculum. Truth78 is committed to developing resources and training that are God-centered, Bible-saturated, Gospel-focused, Christ-exalting, Spirit-dependent, doctrinally grounded, and discipleship-oriented. God is the main character in each lesson. The curriculum encourages each student to discover, develop, display, and declare joy in God! We incorporate music, Bible study, and verse memorization in our class time, while encouraging involvement in giving and missions in order to help each child learn to delight in God above all else.
We would love to come alongside you in helping your children come to know the greatness of God and discover more about the One who can satisfy all our longings.
AWANA
The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of the phrase “Approved workmen are not ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15). Awana is a nondenominational Bible-centered children’s and youth ministry that is committed to the evangelism and discipleship of children and youth.
Our prayer is that all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. From preschool to high school, children and youth have fun playing age-appropriate games, memorizing Bible verses through an organized system, and participating in large-group Bible teaching.
Our Awana club meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:45pm for kids from Transitional Kindergarten (Pre-School) up through Junior High. Parents are welcome to come anytime during the club and watch.
